Language of Instruction:

The University of Ottawa offers programs in both English and French. Students can choose to study in either language or in a bilingual format. 

 

Exam Requirements:

Applicants whose first language is neither English nor French must provide proof of proficiency in the language of instruction. Accepted tests and minimum scores include:

TOEFL iBT: Minimum total score of 86, with at least 22 in Writing and 20 in other sections.

IELTS: Overall band score of 6.5, with a minimum of 6.5 in Writing and 6.0 in other components.

All language proficiency tests must have been completed within two years prior to the start of the term applied for.

International Applicants: Recommended to apply by January 15, 2025.
